The AGN dissed Howard Dean's run for DNC chair in an anonymous editorial this morning. If the AGN doesn't like him, then he clearly must be the best man for the job. It doesn't surprise me one bit that the con$ervative dominated AGN doesn't want a Democratic party with Dean at the helm. They'd be happier and safer with another corporatist Vichy Democrat dragging the party further to the right.
blogarillo,
ReplyDeleteyou nailed it bro. what a crap UNSIGNED editorial.
I know one thing . . . we for sure won't win if we do what the right thinks we should do.
Harry Truman,"If you give people a choice between republican and republican they will vote republican every time."
-Prodigal Son
The Republicans told us not to nominate Dean before. They told us to nominate Kerry because he had a better chance of beating them. We dutifully did what they told us to and they laughed all election night as they whomped us.
ReplyDeleteNow they are telling us again not to nominate Dean. Are we going to listen?
Why don't we get to say whom they nominate? I'd pick the most nut-case right-wing wackos I could find for them to run, say David Duke, Pat Buchanan, or Michael Savage.
If elementary kids picked sides for the other team, the weakest kids would always get chosen first.
If you get to pick your enemies, you always win.
Now Dixiecrat Zell Miller is the kind of Dem the AGN could throw their support behind. Here's Miller giving his keynote speech at the last gathering of The Flat Earth Society (aka the Republican National Convention):
