One More Amarillo Globe Flop

Here is a letter sent to Les Simpson, Globe News publisher Sunday, August 15th:

Mr. Simpson,

Below is a chart listing August polls from a number of sources. In your Sunday edition, page 8 in your story captioned "Kerry ends tour of key states" you have a Bush campaign quote of Gallup poll with Bush up 50% to 47% (which is true of that ONE poll as of 08/13) but take a look at the rest. It would be nice if some of your reporters would take the initiative to do a little research (the internet is easy to use!) instead of cutting and pasting wire stories into your paper. Be honest with your public!
