Regarding HB 1706 (the voter id bill) discussed below, I've been reminded that bad bills that are thought dead are often reborn as ammendments to other bills. It should not surprise anyone if that happens with this, because voter id is a scam being pushed by national Repubs. A quick email of support to the Dem senators would be useful. Use the links in this list to write. Please thank the senators for their assistance in stopping HB 1706, and ask their continued vigilance to make sure that its contents are not added to any other bill.
