We've long taken issue with the Amarillo Globe-Republican's Ghostly Voice^TM and the only justification we've ever heard for its presence on the editorial page is that it provides the "historical position" of the newspaper. So it's always appropriate to compare the Ghost with its own ectoplasmic history.

Today we learned that, although the Ghost thinks that Gubmint should "butt out" of the rights of private business regarding public health issues, the Ghost also believes that-- when such butting out contributes to public health catastrophes-- Gubmint should also pony up some cash.
