Bush Might Cancel Elections in November!

Yep, this ain't no joke.

In the July 19 edition of Newsweek, Mikey Isikoff reveals that Tom Ridge is exploring what would be needed to be done to postpone the fall presidential election, if there were to be a terrorist attack:

. . ."American counter-terrorism officials, citing what they call "alarming" intelligence about a possible Qaeda strike inside the United States this fall, are reviewing a proposal that could allow for the postponement of the November presidential election in the event of such an attack, NEWSWEEK has learned"... Some of Bushistas analysts have even said that, "they [Al Qaeda] want to interfere with the elections."

Ever since the conservatives in Spain were ousted in the wake of last spring's bombings, Shrub's supporters have suggested that the Spanish election results represented a "victory" for our terrorist enemies -- who might, they warn, attempt a similar coup here.

Hint, hint. Wink, wink. Get what they are saying? A vote against President Bush would be, in essence, a vote for Osama bin Laden.

How cynical is this!! How despicable is this!! The Bush thugs will say/do anything to remain in power.

Even during the US civil war, Lincoln did not postpone elections.
