maybe I just don't get it because I'm an elitist




From Joe Klein's analysis of One Tough Grandpa's speech last night:

In the end, the strongest aspect of the speech may have been the awkwardness of the delivery.
What, if anything, does this comment say about Republicans?
What, if anything, does it say about the media?
What, if anything, does it say about Joe Klein?

What is Klein saying about America? Post-W, have we truly reached the point at which one must prove one's ineptness to be elected?
